Book Adventure Book Drive

Izard, the Certified Literate Community Program director, appeared on
Atlanta and Company a daily program of WXIA (NBC affiliate in Atlanta) on
January 26 to discuss a state-wide fundraiser for the Certified Literacy
Community Program. The fundraising event is a school book drive sponsored
by Sylvan Learning Centers and Thrift Recycling. To promote the drive, the
Atlanta Hawks donated 1,000 tickets to the schools. The school that
donates the most books will be awarded $1,000 by Sylvan.
