EAGLE Awards 2007

The 2007 Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) Awards were presented to the outstanding adult literacy students in Georgia at the annual state-wide Leadership Institute, held on February 8-9 in Atlanta.

The EAGLE program recognizes and honors students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in statewide adult literacy classes. The Awards Program is designed to create a greater awareness of the educational opportunities that are available in local communities across the state and to foster involvement in lifelong learning pursuits. Students are nominated by local teachers in public, private, and volunteer agencies.
